Rajasthan ITI Admission Process 2019: Department of Technical Education (DTE), Rajasthan is the institution which manages entire ITI colleges admission procedure in the Rajasthan.  It is important to specify here that there is no separate entrance test for getting admission. Admissions will be made on the basis of candidates’ merit.

The Department of Technical Education, Rajasthan will invite application form for 2019 ITI Admission most probably in the month of June. Candidates who found themselves eligible can apply online within the specified time period.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are looking for admission in ITI in Rajasthan should apply only after ensuring their eligibility. Therefore, the students need to check course-wise eligibility criteria for admission in the desired course. The candidates are recommended to go through the following information:

Applicants form should have completed 8th/10th/12th standard education from any Board/Institute recognized by Central Government/State Government.

 

 

Applicant’s age should not be lower than 15 years.

The candidates should not exceed 40 years.

Applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan.

The age relaxation will be applicable to the reserved category candidates as per Rules.

There will be 5-year relaxation for Ex-Servicemen, 5 years in case of war widows and 10 years relaxation for disabled candidates.

How to Apply for Rajasthan ITI 2019 Admission?

Candidates are required to access the official website of the DTE, Rajasthan to avail official notification. The DTE, Rajasthan will issue information regarding application form 2019 on its official website.

Candidates need to fill the online application form at the official website.

Candidates also need to pay the requisite application fee in order to complete the application process.

The application fee which can be paid using Credit Card, Debit Card, Demand Draft or the KIOSK payment gateway.

Submit the application form after following all the steps and take the printout of the confirmation page or submitted application form for future use.

Admission Process:

Admission in any ITI course will be made on the basis of following points:

The admission will be made purely on basis of merit.

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying exam i.e. 8th/10th/12th (depending upon the course).

Thereafter, candidates will be called for appearing in the counselling process according to merit list.

At the time of counselling, the authority will scrutinise all the original documents.

There is some relaxation in admission will be applicable to the children of ex-servicemen, serving Jawan/Officer as per the rules.

Admission Counselling Process:

The competent authority will send an invitation to the eligible candidates to appear before the counselling committee. Candidates are required to report on scheduled date and time. During counselling, original documents of the candidates will be examined.

The reserved admission quota is as under:

There are some seats reserved for SC/ST candidates.

25% of total seats are reserved for women candidates.

PWD candidates are also eligible under reservation quota.

Ex-servicemen will also get the reservation in admission.

The authority will publish the list of successful candidates on its official website after completion of counselling. Candidates can find their result online with allotted ITI College.

Students have to report to the respective ITI College accordingly. If someone failed to report the concerned college within the considerable time limit, his/her candidature will be cancelled and other students will get an opportunity to take admission.
